Smart move of @thethe to write a song that will never not be relevant (you'd have to be mighty optimistic to think otherwise).
The opening to this one always slays me. Like it even better than the Ballroom Blitz.

Scarily prescient stuff in Matt Johnson's diatribe against religion and the violence it causes. If you're not a fan of The The, then worth hearing just for the lyrics. "If the real Jesus Christ were to stand up today, he'd be gunned down cold by the CIA...." Still remember singing this along with 40,000 other people at the Reading Festival in the early 1990s!
