Just recently coming to Ali Farka Toure (West African (Mali) folk music meets American blues/Appalachian folk music). This is a recent record that Ali's son, Vieux Farka Toure did in 2010...continuing the style/tradition his father started in an improvised (!?!!) recording session with Idan Raichel and a couple of other musicians. For me, their record is really something beautiful. God I would love to see them here in Chicago...
