In honour of a girl on my course who, after watching the BRITS, thinks this was written by One Direction.

"Teenage Kicks" has every characteristic of a classic pop tune: a memorable, hook-filled melody that has great sing-along lyrics and it was produced almost tailor-made for a car stereo.

Now that we've finished with the Festive Fifty number ones, Peeljams will post select John Peel favorites through to Sept. 26. This seemed like an obvious place to start.
