Still have Good Vibrations original which I ordered by mail from,I think,Rough Trade.Like so much of the music I discovered as a youth,the incomparable John Peel brought it to my attention.It was my good fortune to meet and also converse by letter with the great man.May have time for one more jam but this one is for John Peel.Never to be forgotten.

Now that we've finished with the Festive Fifty number ones, Peeljams will post select John Peel favorites through to Sept. 26. This seemed like an obvious place to start.

"Teenage Kicks" has every characteristic of a classic pop tune: a memorable, hook-filled melody that has great sing-along lyrics and it was produced almost tailor-made for a car stereo.
