The 80's had a few cool things going for it. Flying Nun's The Verlaines are one example
My wife's old band used to do a great cover of this. Also, bunnies!
I am in that there New Zealand. Ergo, a track from that there Verlaines.
1982 in an old Dunedin student flat, complete with bunny rabbit and Rimbaud references. Doesn't get much better.
