This week is binge-listening to the Walkmen.

I think The Walkmen's career path sums up their musical style nicely. They sort of plod along - release a really good album every couple of years, a few people listen and then on they go again. Unless you're a big indie rock fan you probably haven't heard of them. Also ironic that their most famous song (The Rat) flies along at about 200mph when the rest of their discography almost moves backwards at times. They have a similar style to The National I think but their relative fame suits their understated manner, this song is from their brilliant 2011 album Lisbon   3
