“I was 11 or 12 when I first heard this tune, my older brother was into Classic Rock FM Radio and this was the early 70s. Around the same time I learned to ride a Yamaha 125 dirt bike, shoot a pellet gun (don't tell mom) and started to learn to drive a manual Ford Bronco or Chevy truck with my sister driving the other in the horse pasture and this was when you would "CRANK UP THE TUNES MAN!" Remember the 70s anyone??!!...and in our demolition derby style off-roading we turned out some deep & thick mud in that field. SUCH AWESOME TIMES. Now, with the benefit of hindsight I'm so thankful for my brother's education of all things "cool" including of course the Who. I only saw this film much later in my teen years but they epitomized a type of British cool and I was hooked from a tender age”

@DavidAnderson has jammed 'Gimme Shelter' and in the comments there's mention of how great an intro it is. I whole heartedly agree.
By coincidence (or is it great minds thinking alike ) the theme for this week's radio show is "The Intro...". I'll be playing my jam, Welcome To The Jungle, Arcade Fire's Wake Up (live at Glastonbury), The Sweet's Ballroom Blitz, and we'll start the show with Stevie Wonder's Superstition...I love a good intro ;)
