Still I'm Sad by The Yardbirds

“Reflects my mood less than 48 hours after hearing about the demise of TIMJ. This jam is a bit atypical for the Yardbirds in 1965 – slower, sadder and a hint of their early tinkering with psychedelia. "Still I'm Sad" is the sole original piece on "Rave Up" album, which was called an "early example of psychedelic pop" it is built around a mock-Gregorian chant, with producer Gomelsky adding the droning bass vocal under Keith Relf's melody line.”

My Dad has recently mastered the art of making compilations on his computer. It was quite a treat the other day when he played his first effort, lots of songs that he had played when I was a little girl. I thought I might share a couple :-)   13
