From the incomparable, monumental, epically and tragically beautiful album "It'll End in Tears"... I'll sidestep "Kangaroo," "Song of the Siren" and "Another Day" (for now), for this sublime jam, sung by Howard Devoto and written by Alex Chilton (who also wrote Kanagroo - both appeared on Big Star Third). I meet AC around 1984 and brought up these covers – and he told me wasn't even aware of them!   5
