With this cover, along with "You and Your Sister" (also on "Blood"), Ivo Watts-Russell – founder of 4AD and the mastermind behind This Mortal Coil – essentially rescued Chris Bell from obscurity. While I prefer the Chris Bell original, TMC applies their own atmospherics to success.
