So this week I am jamming people who are or would have been celebrating birthdays. Yesterday was Paul Simon's birthday and today is Thomas Dolby's who shares his with Cliff Richard and my lil' sis'. Happy Birthday @deborahhicks and get jamming - one in the space of six months is just not good enough...

If my high school life had been a cheesy sitcom like Saved By The Bell, or a film like Ferris Bueler's Day Off, this probably woulda been my theme song. I was mentally kinda all over the place. Way too much caffeine, which I drank like water. I don't remember getting much accomplished but my memories of that time in my life seem to be supercharged with way more importance than was actually there. At the time I wondered why I wasn't more popular or likeable and looking back I can see why. I was a freakin' spaz! In some ways I still am. Although nowadays if I drink one Mountain Dew I feel like I need a doctor. I have bottled water on my desk at the moment. My younger me wouldn't recognize who I am now. He'd think I'm a traitor, but at least we could both agree on Thomas Dolby.
Trying to jam more in May than I have been in recent memory, and you're welcome to come along.
