TISM. Fucking legendary Australian band. Their humour is very specific to their home country, as is their subject matter, but I believe there is a fundamental cross-cultural appeal to the way they deal with the frustrating, occasionally crushing absurdity of middle-class life - its politics and inane entertainment included. Give them a shot.
