I saw the amazing Eleni Mandell last night at McCabe's Guitar Shop. I don't actually know how many times I've seen her perform now, but it's been 8 or 9 times. Last night the gentleman who opened for her, Vikesh Kapoor, absolutely knocked my socks off. He's the best opening act I've ever seen. I'd like to say this guy is going to be super famous one day, but you never know how things will work out. I hope he does become famous, because he's an incredible talent. This is the first song off his new album (his debut) The Ballad of Willy Robbins. I strongly encourage you to give it a listen and judge for yourself. Also, if you're able to see him play live, I strongly encourage you to do so. This guy has a voice like a canyon.
