#ABCsofMe - V is for Violent Femmes - This doubles up as another #FreakOut jam- Some kind of #PedoIncestMashedPotato Freak out.. Daddy issues much, Gordan? Love this band though, seriously. Here's another freaky fave of theirs: 'Country Death Song' @ https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FWZf_RBcB_Y   5

Sometimes I think back on the early 80s and then I smack myself.

I can't think of many songs that use the xylophone as the lead instrument but this is one of them.   3

if you don't own this album(Violent Femmes), you should. that is all. Also, xylophone solo.

#80sflashback The best song by the Femmes in my humble opinion. Hailing from Milwaukee, Wisconsin, their first album came out in 1983. Per Wiki "They were discovered by James Honeyman-Scott (of The Pretenders) on August 23, 1981, when the band was busking on a street corner in front of the Oriental Theatre, the Milwaukee venue that The Pretenders would be playing later that night. Chrissie Hynde invited them to play a brief acoustic set after the opening act." I learn something new everyday~   8
