Amidst all this talk of Mark Ronson's not-bad-at-all "Uptown Funk" and all its ancestors - Prince, Cameo, The Time have all been mentioned - one obvious predecessor has been missed. This glorious tune.

Have I posted anything by Was (Not Was) yet? I don't think so. It's getting difficult to keep track of which music groups I've already jammed. Trying not to repeat anyone, but that silly rule of mine about not duplicating artists is getting annoying. This is one of those bands where it's hard to pick a song of theirs I wouldn't want to add to this list of jams. Robot Girl. Out Come The Freaks. Dad I'm In Jail. Feel Better Than James Brown. Elvis' Rolls Royce featuring Leonard Cohen's amazing vocals. I love all their stuff. Some years back Walk The Dinosaur song was used for awhile as an internet meme, kinda like Rick Astley's "Never Gonna Give You Up" was used to RickRoll people. Someone would tell a story in a message board or chat room and then instead of finishing the story with some satisfying ending, they'd end the story with "Open the door, get on the floor, everybody walk the dinosaur!" ..yeah I don't get why it's funny either. Guess we had to been there.
