Wolfgang Voigt, minimalist electro artist, I do like - a lot. I love the mesmerism of his"Gas" shtuff. I dig repetition, repetition. This selection is from his Kafkatrax cd where, purportedly, all the tracks,except bass drum, are manipulated audio texts from Kafka's works.It's left some crits and fans cold, I understand. Not me. I had florid dreams about my hero, Franz Kafka as a result of listening to it. Kafka is my all time favorite writer ever since I was an angst-y 17 yr old. The vid, I was pleased to discover, is an animated adaption of his wonderful short story, "A Country Doctor." Hopefully all this gravitas is not for dysthymic hipsters only. Oh, I don't care anyway. What's the point? Heh, heh.
