Terrific song, but Poly Styrene soon soured on the the idea of being a pop star, and having to "perform" on shows like "Top of the Pops" is probably one reason why.

X-Ray Spex #MyABCofPunk letter X. The late Poly Styrene (another who went far too soon) lived in my (until recently) home town of Hastings. I didn't have to put any thought into the band or the track for this one... superb live and along with The Slits and Siouxsie, British female punk icons.
