This song is saving my sanity today. It's impossible not to be happy after listening to this.
1987 - 89 in #30thBirthdayJams. The XTC Best Of album, Fossil Fuel, has a special place in the hearts of me and my Dad as it soundtracked a motorway journey we made together in the mid 90s to see my unwell Gramps (his dad) up in Manchester. The album from which King for a Day is taken - Oranges & Lemons - is my favourite of theirs too.
