As someone on soundcloud commented, "these guitars have some filthy disease". That pretty much nails it.
The new Young Widows album, "Easy Pain," is a masterpiece. Saw them live last night and it was even more brilliant.
This track accurately captures my Valentine's Day demeanour.
I know other Young Widows fans who will recoil in horror at this blasphemous utterance, but here goes: the new Young Widows album is the first one I've really connected with since Settle Down City. They're back to being ominously heavy for the first time in a while, and I love it.
