2015

The year got going with “Weaving” by Jo Johnson, and 33 more jams followed. It was a year of post-rock, electronic, and ambient. They were the first, and only, to post “Whaling Tale” by Valley of the Giants. “The Killing Moon” by Echo and the Bunnymen got a lot of love. spewish crossed 200 jams in May! spewish marked the end with “The End of Radio” by Shellac.

2014

spewish’s 2014 started strong with “I'm A Man” by The Litter, and there was more to come; 64 jams in all. Lots of The Soft Boys, 80s, and post-punk. They were the first, and only, to post “Goodbye Desolate Railyard” by A Silver Mt. Zion. People really liked “Love Will Tear Us Apart” by Joy Division. “Waiting Room (Demo Version)” by Fugazi closed out the year.

2013

spewish’s first jam of 2013 was “Gevurah” by Bar Kokhba, and there was more to come; 59 jams in all. The year’s recurring themes? ambient, new wave, and post-punk. spewish did some crate-digging too, and found “Sweet Leaf (Black Sabbath Cover)” by Mogwai. People really liked “Moya” by Godspeed You! Black Emperor. spewish posted their 100th jam in October! spewish’s 2013 came to a close with “Fisherman's Blues” by The Waterboys.

2012

spewish’s 2012 started strong with “Lee Perry Special Dub” by Lee Perry, and there was more to come; 54 jams in all. It was a year of post-punk, indie rock, and electronic. spewish posted a rare gem: “The Snake (Peel Session)” by Pink Fairies. People really liked “Johnny Mathis' Feet” by American Music Club. In April, spewish introduced This Is My Jam to “I Never Glid Before” by Gong. spewish crossed 50 jams in November! “Death Valley” by Boris closed out the year.
