Yup. CB stuff was very popular in country music at that time. Actually, it was really big in popular culture, period. Lots of regular ol' people started buying & using CBs, if you can believe it.
@spidra i love johnny...in the 90's CB was huge in hawaii...i was a huge part of that culture...i knew people that the fcc was key to putting behind bars for illegal radios...one dude was running so much power in his radio that he would 'bleed' over into the movie theater when he would drive by it...i was in some really cool clubs with some good and not good people...i am sure the fishermen still use them and you better stay off their channel...i was the MIDNIGHT RAMBLER
I only tried once or twice myself. My mother had put one in my care, thinking it would help in case I got in an emergency. But I found it so difficult to understand the etiquette that I wasn't encouraged to rely on it. Hey, I missed it because I was away from good internet for a couple days but thanks for jamming my album again!
