Jeremy...Jeremy...nope, doesn't ring a bell ;) But seriously, this is quite a launch! You know I have a soft spot for Latin metal. I absolutely love this! Thanks for launching this new page and for all your amazing jams and comments over the past year. It goes without saying that I also wish you a wonderful, happy and healthy new year with lots of good old and new music. Keep on jamming and rocking!! \m/
@redheadx Haha huh, I must have made a mistake. Sorry to have bothered you, ma'am. ;) Glad you approve and I actually forgot you, too, have a soft spot for Latin metal! I can't get enough of it. Thank you for the kind words and the sentiment is completely mutual!
Paging @BladeRunner for some Brazilian metal. I'm keeping ShiningSun2k as my anything goes page, but I finally gave in to requests to start a hard rock and metal page and this is my first jam. I also started one for hip-hop: @sshop. It sounds a little ambitious, but I'll still only be posting three jams a week I think and it'll ease my decision making a bit. :)
Oh now this is a nice surprise and I gotta say that I really enjoyed the song! I'm actually impressed on how Spanish got along with the sound... You know that I don't know (or listen to) much metal, but let's see how it goes :) I like your picks, so this might be a good opportunity for me to appreciate it! Thanks for the paging, congrats on the initiative and I'm following! ;)
@BladeRunner Wow, I'm glad you liked and I wasn't expecting you to actually follow, but I'll take it! I know it's not the same, but one of my favorite metal bands of all time is Puya, from Puerto Rico. They sing mostly in Spanish and they're heavy, but they also mix a lot of salsa and whatnot in and sing as well. I'll definitely be sharing them soon on one of these pages. Anyway, thanks for the vote of confidence and I hope you hear a few things you like, but neverfeel obligated to like it! :)
@natyblooming I don't think you're much of a metal head, but what do you think of this track by a Latin American metal supergroup? This is Jeremy (ShiningSun2k), by the way. I caved and stared a page for hard rock and metal and one for hip-hop (@sshop) per a couple friends' requests. Still only posting every six days on all of them for now though.
Oh!!!!!! I am not at all a metal head!!!!!!!!!!!!!! jajajajajaja and I have issues with hip hop! jajajaja but, I am glad you got your new accounts and I am all for tolerance so yay! :)
@shiningsun2k hahaha well, it's a vote of confidence indeed, but based on the fact that I like your picks, so I thought this may be a good way to try ;) I promise to be truthfull in my 'likes'.
@redheadx You don't need to pimp my page for em, but thank you very much for the effort. :) It's in it's fledgling stages, but I'll get people to come over slowly as I find time.
@redheadx I will say after doing a little looking, there aren't that many real rock/metal fans out there and not that many hip-hop heads either. The vast majority is middle of the road, a little bit of everything, but nothing too extreme types. That's not a bad thing, necessarily, I just wasn't expecting it.
For some reason it wouldn't play here for me, so I had a listen on Spotify. Metal isn't usually my thing, but I quite liked this. I'll be interested to see what else you post in the future. :-)
@ssrock You're right, the vast majority likes mainstream music, but fortunately there's a very solid and enthusiastic group of rock and metal fans out there. Quality is more important than quantity, right? :) I promise not to try and pimp your page again...perhaps only with pink flowers and butterflies next time haha.
@metallicagirl Glad you like it! I know you love your '80s and '90s rock, but I wasn't sure what you'd think of this. Rest assured, I'll be posting plenty of old school shit as well. :) \m/
@yrmonster Argh, stupid regional copyright laws or whatever. I'm glad you looked it up and enjoyed it though! I never would have taken you for a metal head, and that's not a bad thing at all, but thanks for the follow and vote of confidence. I hope you find some more stuff you enjoy here. :)
@redheadx There are a lot of mainstream fans, but I find a lot of obscure stuff too. The thing I notice though is there just isn't much heavy music being posted of any genre. There's a lot of great music, but most of it is indie rock or funk or alt rock or grunge...it's a wide variety, but not much of it is really aggressive feeling.
@redheadx And you can pimp my page all you like if you know of someone you think would enjoy my jams - just don't feel obligated by any means. Also, skulls and weapons only - no flowers and butterflies! ;)
@ssrock I know someone who (probably) hasn't, but does anyway ;) I understand what you mean by the "aggressive feeling" and I agree the lack of it here is a shame really. I'll give the pimping another thought ;)

@natyblooming Haha I figured. I just paged you for this one 'cause of the Latin-ness of it, including a Columbian member. :)

@BladeRunner oh yeah! I liked it, they opened for Metallica last March in Bogotá! it was a blast!!! thank you!
ssrock
@maodiver You saw Metallica AND De La Tierra? In the same concert? I'm so envious!!! D:

Dude. This is pretty damn cool.

@redheadx AAAAND, it's definitely all about quality over quantity. Who has time to listen to a hundred jams a day anyway?

@ssrock totally in! How is it whatever you post on here is always great? It's pretty amazing.
ssrock
@metallicagirl You're gonna make me blush, but thank you! Flattery will get you everywhere. ;) And you post great jams reliably yourself!
