Agreed. Andy Rourke should have had a co-write credit on this. It's up there with the great Chic basslines.
I don't think Rourke has ever had the credit for The Smiths sound. The way he plays within and around Marr's guitar playing is very clever. Really evident on The Queen is Dead more than anywhere.
