subotnick’s 2012 started strong with “Spirit Of Dunkirk” by Camberwell Now, and 46 more jams followed. Plenty of dubstep, electronic, and post-punk. subotnick found a rare one: “Whirly-Bird” by Silver Apples. People really liked “Keeping Up” by Arthur Russell. In January, subotnick introduced This Is My Jam to “Holland Tunnel Dive” by impLOG. In September, subotnick posted their 50th jam. “Cold White Christmas” by Casiotone for the Painfully Alone closed out the year.

In November, subotnick joined This Is My Jam, and kicked things off with “Your Privilege” by Lee Noble. Nice. It was a year of lo-fi, ambient, and drone. subotnick was the first person on This Is My Jam to post “Goddess Eyes” by Julia Holter — before 61 others! “#3 (Get Out)” by Pita closed out the year.
