One of the great Western movies! One of the great Western songs! GREAT JAM! For your next jam, can you find "Do not forsake me oh my darling?" And please let me know! (But let this one run out first!)
@ada23@totty01843@Bukowski@Ohow Oh "Make My Day" Clint @twistymellorman never heard of Horst, need some info... @kemiladashdot McCloud? Need some info about him.. @SheRa Clint a favorite of many and Yul - wasn't he in the "King and I" @earsarepricked LOL Woody, what fun! @zodat Love the Duke!
@teen - I was having a little joke at your expense. If I asked most people over 35 to name the actors who played the Magnificent Seven, it would be easy: Yul Brynner, Steve McQueen, Robert Vaughn, James Coburn, Charles Bronson, Brad Dexter and... um... the other one that nobody can remember.
That's Horst Buchholz.
i love john wayne and live by #WWJWD however, my favorite is brit from the magnificent seven. mostly because i am a knife nut and automatics (switchblades) are the epitome of awesome https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YjDR9aMRUhg
@hsmagnet a noise they perfected over the years just like the cowboys riding on their horses but you never saw the horses, just them bouncing up and down in the air...

Yes, John Wayne is my favorite. There should be a Western Theme week on TIMJ. My pick would be Ed Ames singing the theme to "The War Wagon."
twistymellorman
Seconds @mrwehall's #westernweek suggestion.
soorajsoman
Clint for me but the Duke would fit the bill, in all respects. Also like Robert Duvall in some of his cowboy roles..
teen
@soorajsoman @twistymellorman @mrwehall We are getting a great display of comments and suggestions for a #westernweek, let's do it..

It's Big John for me too!! But Steve McQueen in the Magnificent Seven comes close!! Good to hear Gene Pitney :-)
hsmagnet
magnificent seven foley artists made the gunshots sounds interesting as well. some of them had a "pa-COW" like noise ;-)
teen
@mikelowe I have to agree with you, Steve McQueen is a winner as well...
