Nice one kid! This is from the same album that brought Mr Joel to my attention. The track I recall fondly, is Movin' Out (Anthony's Song). I was 18 at the time. Always loved that tune. Great album and great pick. 10 out of 10 for Dad!! :-)
I opened up the playlist at the wedding for guests to suggest songs. My dad chose a Who song and my little sister chose a Billy Joel song, it felt like opposite day
@21schizoid Anthony's Song is pretty sweet. A lot of billy's hits were on this album like "Just the way you are"and "She's always a woman"and"Only the good die young". Great all around record :).
@kzone8 I was thinking of seeing him recently when he toured with Elton John, I think? But that didn't happen. I did take my dad to see Carol King and James Taylor perform. Those are some of his and my favourite artists, as well.
@squigqueenb That is quite a bit different. I'm been trying to get my dad into "The Who" but that isn't working. He was always into the soft rock, folk and jazzy sort of stuff.

Reminds me of trips with my mate in her Dad's car as a kid!

Father knows best. I've seen Mr. Joel live twice, back in the day when he was still active in the pop scene.

@Katherinaminola very cool. My dad would play his mixtapes with Creedence and Billy Joel all the time in the car when I was younger.

You're very lucky! Wish I'd been introduced to Creedence much earlier in life!
