tezcatlipoca’s 2012 started strong with “Daylight” by Aesop Rock, and the jams kept coming; 26 in total. The year’s recurring themes? singer-songwriters, electronica, and electro. tezcatlipoca posted a rare gem: “Annabelle” by Steff La Cheffe. “Tinariwen” by Group Anmataff got a lot of love. In February, tezcatlipoca introduced This Is My Jam to “Dirge” by Death in Vegas. tezcatlipoca passed 20 jams in March. tezcatlipoca’s 2012 came to a close with “Got To Let Go - feat. Charlie Fink of Noah & The Whale” by Charlotte Gainsbourg.

In October, tezcatlipoca joined This Is My Jam, and kicked things off with “Politiska Dikten Aterv” by Kim Hiorthoy. Nice. It was a year of folk, singer-songwriters, and indietronica. They were the first, and only, to post “Solid Ground Piano Version” by Ms. John Soda. In November, tezcatlipoca introduced This Is My Jam to “Left and leaving” by The Weakerthans. “Blood Bank” by Bon Iver closed out the year.
