thegman’s 2014 started strong with “Haunt Me Sweetly” by House of Cosy Cushions. 24 more jams followed it! The year’s recurring themes? shoegaze, noise-pop, and singer-songwriters. thegman did some crate-digging too, and found “Is What It Is” by She Keeps Bees (featuring Sharon Van Etten). In January, thegman introduced This Is My Jam to “I Won't Slip Up” by The Delines. thegman reached 100 jams in January. 2014 drew to a close with “Madora” by Beverly.

thegman’s first jam of 2013 was “The Blues Are Still Blue” by Belle and Sebastian, and the jams kept coming; 48 in total. There was a lot of singer-songwriters, pop, and folk. They were the first, and only, to post “Tecumseh Valley (Live, 1993)” by Townes Van Zandt. thegman passed 75 jams in June.

In February, thegman joined This Is My Jam, and kicked things off with “Mayday” by Leaflog. Nice. There was a lot of Trumpets of Jericho, shoegaze, and singer-songwriters. In December, thegman posted their 50th jam. “Like A Mouse” by And So I Watch You From Afar closed out the year.
