@Zoso: I learned about them in an interview with a band whose song I posted a couple of days ago (Savages): "A band that I've been listening to a lot recently is HTRK, and they've got that primal thing as well, which I like, and I really like the way [frontwoman] Jonnine Standish is very sexual, very feminine, but not very sensual. It doesn't come across as a girl singing. It is active, but in a way that most people are not used to anymore." Definitely wanted to learn more!
@hindle4 I'm not fond of the device myself. Who started it - MSTRKRFT maybe? (INXS probably doesn't count.) Alas we live in a txtspk age, I expect this kind of thing will only increase. I draw the line well before LMFAO though, you can be sure.
Haha no I don't think INXS should count, I quite like that one... talk of double standards! I know you shouldn't judge a book by its cover, but it probably does put me off listening to a band with such a name. Just makes me think that they'll be some new electronic indie band that are the latest NME craze and 6 months down the line, nobody gives a sh*t about.

God I hate these abbreviated band names... There's so many of them! Do they really think it's edgy and cool..? Nice tune though... :)

I'd prefer it if it wasn't all caps lock.
