Number 7 in my albums of 2013 is "Fade" by Yo La Tengo. This is one of my favourite songs of last year with an excellent animated video to boot.

What is Yo La Tengo? No matter how you break it down they're simply one of the best in the game. I'm so looking forward to seeing them in Golden Gate Park this evening.
