@thisismymistake - I was just about to like Lady Lamb! :-) I want to say, if it wasn't for you (& @clickysounds who I 'met' due to you) I'm certain I still wouldn't be listening to female solo singers (as opposed to women in bands) properly, let alone loving some of them. That's a huge gift to hand to someone. Many thanks always :-)
@maksuud My pleasure @alisonsghost Strangely enough ten-ish years ago I wish still listening to something like 70% male/30% female musicians. Better access to music has helped a lot finding creative and unusual female musicians. There's no lack of talent, only of opportunity (as can be seen with those 90% male festival lineups).

I hate the way that women often have album covers that show them alone looking beautiful whereas bands or single male singers get something more interesting :-( Due to rec.co. pressure I suppose) 'They don't care what you sound like, just what you look like' The same old treadmill. I've just listened to yr Beth Jeans Houghton jam - I didn't even recognise it as LC & great video. Can't remember hearing it, but if I had , glad to be reminded.
May I say, Oliver, that it's been an absolute pleasure following you and in my humble opinion, you have always jammed something half reasonable ;) 💋
