It's just hard to be affectionate in the way you might about say, the beach boys, when you know, deep down, that you're digging Supertramp, you know? It's difficult to put that away, compartmentalise it somewhere and just be like 'hey, cool, I'm a supertramp fan in a sincere, total and unadulterated way, I'm going to go on long road trips across the US in an old beater and what am I going to take with me, what's going to be the soundtrack to this totally awesome road trip?"

"Take the Long Way Home" is an awesome track for a road trip across the US. Probably more with an old convertible Aston Martin...
