2014

“Soap Bar” by Goldie Lookin Chain kicked off toby17’s 2014. 25 more jams followed it! It was a year of The Upsetters, roots reggae, and roots. toby17 posted a rare gem: “Dub Wiser” by Augustus Pablo. People really liked “Dub & Praise” by The Upsetters. toby17 passed 50 jams in October. 2014 drew to a close with “Santa Claus Dub” by The Aggrovators.

2013

toby17’s year started strong with “Mafia” by Dub Syndicate, and 19 more jams followed. There was a lot of Dub Syndicate, roots, and Jamaican music. toby17 did some crate-digging too, and found “Tedious Dub” by Junior Murvin. “Take Five” by King Tubby got a lot of love. In May, toby17 posted their 20th jam. 2013 drew to a close with “Well Tuned Now” by Dub Syndicate.

2012

In August, toby17 joined This Is My Jam, and kicked things off with “Hallelujah” by Leonard Cohen. Nice. In October, toby17 found it, their eternal jam: “King of Sound and Blues” by Dub Syndicate. Lots of reggae, classic rock, and dub. They were the first, and only, to post “Want A Wine” by The Upsetters. “The Needle And The Damage Done” by Neil Young got a lot of love. toby17’s 2012 came to a close with “Frozen Dub” by King Tubby Meets Rockers Uptown (Augustus Pablo).
