“This” by Mount Eerie kicked off topfife’s 2015, and there was more to come; 7 jams in all. They were the first, and only, to post “Ann Wants To Dance” by Papooz. People really liked “A Touching Display” by Wire. topfife’s final jam was “Hoofprints On The Ceiling Of Your Mind” by Daniel Higgs.

2014

topfife’s year started strong with “Look Back and Laugh” by Minor Threat. 17 more jams followed it! Plenty of hardcore, indie rock, and post-punk. topfife found a rare one: “Midnight Cowboy Medley” by Buddy Rich. topfife was the first person on This Is My Jam to post “The Lord's Favourite” by iceage — before 23 others! topfife passed 100 jams in March. “The Artist/Little London Crow Medley” by Kill Yourself closed out the year.

2013

topfife’s first jam of 2013 was “It's Expected I'm Gone” by Minutemen, and 22 more jams followed. Lots of alt-coutnry, punk, and hardcore. topfife found a rare one: “I See a Darkness (NOW HERE'S MY PLAN version)” by Bonnie 'Prince' Billy. “Electric Funeral” by Black Sabbath got a lot of love. topfife posted their 75th jam in January!

2012

topfife’s first jam of 2012 was “A Quick One, While He's Away” by The Who. In March, topfife found it, their eternal jam: “Between Two Mysteries” by Mount Eerie. It was a year of folk, avant garde, and electronic. topfife did some crate-digging too, and found “June Is Finally Here” by Don Caballero. “Rebel Girl” by Bikini Kill got a lot of love. In January, topfife introduced This Is My Jam to “Stormy Weather” by Pixies. In June, topfife posted their 50th jam. “The Eloquent Elephant” by Elk closed out the year.

2011

In October, topfife joined This Is My Jam, and kicked things off with “You Did Have The Right Thing When You” by Arthur Russell. Nice. It was a year of noise, noise rock, and folk. topfife found a rare one: “I Want To Be A Hulkamaniac” by Hulk Hogan & The Wrestling Boot Band. People really liked “Great Ghosts (live)” by Mount Eerie. In November, topfife introduced This Is My Jam to “Kerosene” by Big Black. 2011 drew to a close with “Hot Chocolate Boy” by Beat Happening.
