Tinseltown In The Rain by The Blue Nile

“' Walk across the rooftops ', the album this track is from was a favourite in the hi-fi shop where I sold Linn turntables in the 80's, understandably because Linn had Blue Nile on their new record label. It was played to death in the shop , rather like 'Money for nothing ' by Dire Straits was later in the 80's .I had forgotten about Blue Nile until the other day when I saw the cd in my local music store at the bargain price of 3 for a £5. Having listened to it again tonight it is still a great track and album . I know @21schizoid likes them as they are from Glasgow and he remembers them well.If any of you haven't heard of them before I hope you enjoy .”

Thanks to Matt D for the inspiration, what a song, what an album the reclusive genius of The Blue Nile.   3
