







“Medley” by Catrin Finch and Seckou Keita kicked off treesandmeadows’s 2014. treesandmeadows found their eternal jam in March — “Some Other Time” by Monica Zetterlund / Bill Evans Trio. The year’s recurring themes? hard bop, jazz, and trumpet. They were the first, and only, to post “Coming Home Baby” by Hank Jones. treesandmeadows crossed 100 jams in March! “Free Flow” by Lee Morgan closed out the year.

The year got going with “Lover, Come Back to Me & Send Me to the 'lectric Chair” by Dinah Washington, and the jams kept coming; 55 in total. There was a lot of piano, jazz piano, and jazz. treesandmeadows posted a rare gem: “The Maze” by Herbie Hancock. In August, treesandmeadows posted their 75th jam. 2013 drew to a close with “I Loves You, Porgy” by Bill Evans Trio.

In August, treesandmeadows joined This Is My Jam, and kicked things off with “Paper Scissors Stone” by Portico Quartet. Nice. The year’s recurring themes? folk, piano, and funk. treesandmeadows found a rare one: “'Tis Autumn” by Ella Fitzgerald and Joe Pass. “Hackensack” by John Coltrane, Stan Getz, Oscar Peterson, Paul Chambers and Jimmy Cobb got a lot of love. treesandmeadows reached 20 jams in October. 2012 drew to a close with “Shout (It Out)” by Louchie Lou & Michie One.
