It's hard for me to narrow it down to one Little Dragon song, but I choose this for now.

#Top31Tracksof2014: Just missing out on the Top 5, we have the lead single from one of my very favouritest albums of the whole year, "Nabuma Rubberband". I've really liked Little Dragon for a good while now, especially Yukimi Nagano's incredible vocals, but this album is what pushed them over the edge for me, delivering mellow yet driving pop songs that were full of emotions and subtle hooks for days. "Klapp Klapp" is both an anomaly on the record and perfectly representative of it. It's one of the more alive tracks on the record, yet still feels tightly wound, always building up to a payoff that only very sporadically arrives. Yukimi's vocals command the attention, the driving kick-snare beat gets toes tapping, and the deep bass-y synths prove far catchier than one would think. It's a secret monster of a track. And, yes, it was amazing when played live. #bestof2014
