urbanmania’s 2013 started strong with “Heartbreaks + Setbacks” by Thundercat, and there was more to come; 10 jams in all. The year’s recurring themes? Zebra Katz, swag, and electronica. “Clissold VIP” by Machinedrum closed out the year.

In January, urbanmania joined This Is My Jam, and kicked things off with “Home Is Where The Hatred Is” by Gil Scott-Heron. Nice. There was a lot of Gil Scott-Heron, funk, and hip hop. urbanmania posted a rare gem: “See Line Woman (Ogris Debris remix)” by Nina Simone. In January, urbanmania introduced This Is My Jam to “Getting Nowhere” by Magnetic Man. urbanmania crossed 20 jams in August! urbanmania’s 2012 came to a close with “Pretty On The Inside” by Hole.
