Damn, another classic. Teddy happens to be none other than Teddy Riley, the man given credit as for being the father of New Jack Swing, the genre that started with Guy and hit its peak in the early-mid '90s with the likes of Bobby Brown, Bell Biv Devoe, Color Me Badd and Boyz II Men. Some of my favorites when I was in middle school and I still love revisiting them. Oh and he's an iconic producer who's worked with everyone from Michael Jackson to Stevie Wonder.

AND he was a member of Blackstreet: http://youtu.be/3KL9mRus19o and Wreckx-N-Effect: http://youtu.be/iKKONgfNONU. It blew my mind when I learned a member of Wreckx-N-Effect had such an impressive legacy.

I got the Guy cassette tape when I was a kid and I didn't know any of that until a few years ago.
