“Afrodisia” by Kenny Dorham kicked off vyansky’s 2015, and the jams kept coming; 9 in total. Lots of jazz, funk, and music from Chicago. vyansky’s final jam was “Você Não Entende Nada” by Gal Costa.

2014

vyansky’s first jam of 2014 was “El Chacal” by Jose Conde Y Ola Fresca, and there was more to come; 32 jams in all. There was a lot of soul, Brazilian music, and funk. vyansky did some crate-digging too, and found “Şu Samsun'un Evleri (kozmonot rework)” by Arif Sağ. People really liked “Fame” by David Bowie. In December, vyansky posted their 100th jam. vyansky’s 2014 came to a close with “Just an Illusion” by Imagination.

2013

vyansky’s first jam of 2013 was “Backseat Freestyle” by Kendrick Lamar. vyansky found their eternal jam in May — “Não Enche” by Caetano Veloso. The year’s recurring themes? Caetano Veloso, soul, and tropicalia. vyansky found a rare one: “Homebreakers” by The Style Council. People really liked “You Keep Me Hangin' On” by The Supremes. vyansky posted their 50th jam in February! “Suffocated Love” by Tricky closed out the year.

In January, vyansky joined This Is My Jam, and kicked things off with “Friend Of The Night” by Mogwai. Nice. The year’s recurring themes? electronic, Brazilian music, and pop. vyansky found a rare one: “Bring the Noise vs. Ghostbusters” by Public Enemy. vyansky was the first person on This Is My Jam to post “Beam Me Up (Jacques Renault Remix)” by Midnight Magic — before 12 others! vyansky reached 20 jams in May. vyansky’s 2012 came to a close with “Troubleman” by Electric Guest.
